RC35 bits and bobs, and a stem

Haven't posted on here in aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages, and here I am asking for stuff.

Can anyone help me out with a couple of inspection port plugs for a set of ~1993 RC35s (might be 92s as I don't think they have the AB hole). Also need a complete set of elastomers but I know Pace can supply them.

I may also need a replacement brace as mine seems to be missing the roller from the top (it's the tubular one) but I don't actually need the roller, so it'd mostly be for accuracy.

I could also do with a decent 1" ahead stem less than 110mm long, in silver or purple please...

WHYG?

If you do not mind running a shim to reduce, (which I did no probs) I have some Pace RC 45 stems available -- grey ano. 90mm, silver 110mm.
PM if interested and can sort some images of them.
Would be looking for £45 + postage.

Not sure if the if this info still current, but some years ago I sent my RC36s for a service to a company (ex-pace employee) called " Fork English " thing guy went by the name of 'just backdated ' on here...might worth searching out for spares?

PS if you do not mind deviating from original kit, I used to run a Tektro made brake rocker as a substitute for a bit back in the day...

Hi Tangent,

I'm currently running a 1 1/8" stem and reducer at the moment and would like to get away from it, but thanks for the offer!

I've PMd Justbackdated but not heard back yet.

Thanks for the info on the rocker too.

That might work. Looks like the mount isn't there on the brace though...

Have you got a pic please?

Great little gizmo, run one on the Mrs's Judy SL forks. They are a V type fork but mounted one of these to the hole on the brace where a reflector can go, and allows her to run cantis perectly.

Re:

The Atmosphere Balance thing came about because either landing a jump or a sudden fork movement would blow the cap off the bottom of the forks. If you get some caps without the AB holes then drill some yourself or they'll probably pop off & disappear off down your trail somewhere the first time you ride it in anger.
