RC31 1" Steerer 440mm leg.

I'm still considering this option for the Lloyd having broken a secondhand RC31 back in March.

Those were 420mm and felt like they fitted really well. The Z2's on at the moment are 440mm but sag a little. I could probably get away with it.

But... dare I risk another set? Last set allegedly had an easy life until I broke them in a minor stack on my second ride with them

But who knows what life they really had, maybe they were already broken when I bought them :?:

Maybe I should keep saving for Vicious, Groovy or Alves forks... me, bonded carbon, and Pace, don't have a particularly good track record.

Wiggle are no longer doing the 1" unbutted P2's which is probably a good thing - this frame deserves better than a boat anchor hanging off the front

Other suggestions for suitable forks appreciated...

2 year warranty :?

Enough said there I think... I should have known better than to buy...

A - Pace
B - Carbon Fiber
C - Secondhand
D - Superlight componentry
E - Pimpery

Chalk it up to experience and only piss £100 down the pan

Decision made - I'm keeping it boingy for the moment and saving my pennies for something steel that I can trust 8)
