No contest Steven - the vote is heading Ian's way. I am not sure if you knew but I was in the same position as Ian in 1982 - drooling over the Road Ace. It was too expensive so i got the Rapide and i still remember being in the bike shop looking at the Road Ace which was parked beside the Rapide. I could even take you to the place in the shop where it was parked - and the shop is a ruin now! Why did i not buy it???? LOL
