that looks weirdly cool, the gold tape looks good aswel 8)

don't think i have any more road bikes to enter, think i've put mine in over the years

That Frank Kirk is really stunning! I wish I had a bike to include... or not... Cant say that you make this an easy comp! And anyway, my Klein is not yet ready (but comming along)

The Kirk Precision frame was made of monkey metal and god forbid if you crashed on it as it would shatter!

Sprinting hard on then usually made the rear brake bridge come loose or at worst break off whilst braking hard!

Many of these frames ended up on the dump.

Still nice though.

Dave Mann (I think ) was a brave man - ahem - for doing city centre crits on these bikes BITD .
IIRC they flexed like hell from what I heard . Shame really as I think they look really cool .

Yes there were many problems with the production of the frames , and service in use . However for pure out of the box thinking it was something completely different in its time . It still stands out from the crowd . I can remember watching a Tomorrows world episode where they ran over a frame with a car , as i remember it came out none the worst . For those who would like to known more about the history of this British design classic and its issues . Here is a link .
