Bike is stock from the catalogue with the following exceptions:
-20c tyres have been swapped out for 25mm Jack Browns
-Inner and outer cables have been renewed. The dark grey shimano cable outers for the brakes are darker than stock but I have the stock OEM cable outers if you want them with the bike.
-I don't have the OEM Raleigh pump and bidons that would have come new.
-I've fitted a brand new chain
-No pedal straps
Its on original bar tape and saddle, the latter of which could probably do with re-attaching the top cover edges with fabric glue. Full 1050 gruppo, grey anodised Weinmann aero rims etc. I've replaced the headset, hub and BB bearings with grade 10 items and fresh marine grease.
There are some small paint chips on the fork and a few small scratches on the top tube which I will try to capture in better light - but the paint is very good and there are of course no dings or dents and the tubes are straight. Wheels are true. The only thing that bothers me about the bike is the knife edge headset adjustment. Rotation feels slightly draggy but backing out the top nut and locknut just a tiny amount makes it feel loose. There are new loose balls in there so its either a new low stack headset needed or the head tube needs facing and it left the facory like this. Its not show stopping, the bike is fully rideable.
I would like £150 and this includes Paisleyfreight courier delivery to UK mainland addresses in a strong bike box. Thats about half what I paid for it but we all know things are rock bottom so the price reflects this.
