Robs Master Olympic for me! Alot of nice nice bikes but its Robs that I covet the most! I've a Master X light sitting in a similar paint scheme and this is pretty much exactly how I want to build it. Lovely bike Is there a build thread anywhere?

Kaiser, many thanks for the kind words about my bike. I did start a build thread (currently on page 4 of readers bikes section). I ran out of steam on the photos and so didn't document full build.

Mavic Mach 2 cd2 on c record hubs

Only change since submitting is wheels now used campag sigma pave rims on c record hubs. Mavic rims are NOS and couldn't bring myself to ride it and ruin their perfectness! With the used wheels I can get out on it without any guilt!

Absolutely agree, the best bike won, exceptional attention to detail and a wonderful build.

I wonder if I can persuade the wife that I must have one more project - in red with Raleigh written on it!
