looking at respraying my old Raleigh Pioneer frame, the whole point of this bike has been to keep it running as cheaply as possible. Now I've spayed quite a bit bitd and if I still had access I'd two pack epoxy it...however I don't! Ive also used Smoothrite' at home and had good results but that was approx 10 years ago and whilst it's lasted really well I've been informed it's nowhere near as good today....so any recommendations, looking for hardwearing paint I can get if the shelf in the UK.

I use Spray.Bike and Montana - these are in themselves not particularly hardwearing, but are easy to apply and use and give good results.

For hardwearingness excellent prep and priming is key, as is a 2K clear coat - I use SprayMax

More recently I have been Using Kustom Canz effects paints and find them to be great.

I use Upol power cans. Never had issues with paint, primer or clear. Less fussy about temp than many and can pressure is good and stays good.

Downside is very limited colours. But does everything from etch to spray fill.

Yes used it loads bitd, however heard reports it's now nowwhere near as good. It'd make most sense or a paint like that as just a good sand and prep rather than a full strip.
FWIW I have used Hammerite (Smooth) black on some components on older bikes (1920s-1930s). Founds it pretty good and easy to use. Not used it for frame or forks though.
