Rare Specialized Allez Elite Colombus Steel

Now here's something you don't see everyday...

A very reluctant sale of a faithful friend, my loved 2003 Specialized Allez Elite 56cm. I bought this when I lived in Colorado, which explains why I came to have this model which was never sold in the UK and why it's a triple.

Frame: Specialized Allez Elite 56cm Colombus Thermacron FOCO
Forks: Specialized C2 carbon
Headset: Cane Creek
Bars and stem: original Specialized
Seatpost: Tifosi carbon
Saddle: Specialized Body Geometry
Full 105 groupset
Wheels: Shimano R500

Frame has some cable lock scuffs on down tube and some rub from race blade mudguards which has been touched up with paint, otherwise in excellent condition.

I've loved this bike since I first rode it but it's time for a change. Zingy ride, compact geometry, retro looks. Needs a good home...

I'm based in Bristol. Bike weight is 22.2lbs with Knog lights and race blade mudguards so easily sub 22lbs bare.

I would consider posting but haven't looked into it yet.

If an Ultegra build can be that light, then a 105 build for around 22lbs is certainly possible.

You're right, I apologise. I assumed that the badge meant it was some kind of alloy with a similar-looking frame.

Thermacrom is a steel alloy.
