Rare Prototype Zaskar .. yawn.. yer mate.

True. It's exeption because an extra large size frame need or rather could have both gussets. Good point though.

Apart from the fact that, if we look at the basic facts, they didn't. It's just a popular myth. :)

But to get back to the original point; whatever Mr eBay seller might think there are people on here who have more knowledge on GT bikes in the stuff they scrape out from under their little finger nail than the rest of us put together; some of them have contributed to this thread already. They're not convinced. 'nuff said. Apart from: the seller is telling big, fat porkie pies. :) Zaskar my big hairy bottom.

my q and reply

Hello, I am very interested. I have and own a Zasker built in 1990 frame no. 88 - another rare beast if I maybe so bold! This was even before they were sold anywhere in the world. I am very keen to see the pictures of the prototype stamp. Can you tell me some history of this. How and when did you come by this specimen, what if any, components / specs did it house when you purchased it. Any more historical info would certainly help with this such incredibly rare ZaskErr

reply - he is not dumb this one!

OOOH you lucky boy !! There's even a chap across the pond who owns over 14 Zaskar's !! Bet you can't beat that ?! I think amongst all the arm chair pundits, the pro's the so call brother of Jo Breeze, {remember him?} a few egos are being dented..I mean,[i've got 14 !}[I've got the first one !} & {i've got one pre commercial issue !} For f*U*k sake !!Keep an eye out for the pics over the weekend, they'll make for some serious niggling gossip..To be or not to be....Zask is the question..Adios
