Rare obtainable bikes.

For me it'd have to be a Rocky Mountain Suzi Q from '95. Only ever seen one on ebay.de a couple of years back for silly (rightly so) money...

I love the oddball, esoteric stuff...

so far I've nailed down two of my quests, a Nevil Devil and a Psycho Psycle.

Still looking for an Off Road Toad, Spooky Darkside, and a Funk.

cheers,

Steve

The first ever sale on here was strangely enough, a zolatone team Marin with faded pink decals...

Anyway, I havent seen a 531 framed Claud Butler mountain bike since my first one back in '91, they've all been K2 or 501.

Not very exciting but that was my first 'proper' mtb.

This is a 91' Team Marin, as i've got one ready for respraying and rebuilding.....never seen a 90' Team Marin since the one i owned back in the early 90's :(

Parkpre Pro Octane

Never seen or heard of one, ever.

they stole that design from the San Andreas! apart from how the shock is mounted it is an almost perfect rip-off. maybe thats why it was never seen?

Dyna-Tech MT-5, same frame as the team bikes, super light and great riding too. Seen NOS frames sell for less than £150.

slingshot

i always wanted an old slingshot frame, as i remember seeing one in a bike magazine when i was younger, however i have never seen one for sale, i know thye have new frames out now but they don't seem quite the same.

Rocky Mountain Summit (e-stay)

Had one and haven't seen one since...must be a rare bike

Just missed out on one in the late nineties, before I really knew what it was. It was just a cool bike.

Other than that, I have a hankering for a carbon Klein Mantra or a Schwinn Straight Six (or eight)
