As an update, muppet 2 has sent 2 messages this afternoon- 1st to aplologise for they feedback and to say he did not know that the ring should be like that, if he could he would alter the feedback. I replied and said that's OK- no hard feelings. An hour later he sent a message to say ' I want a full refund and stop wasting my valuable time!
this guy must be on drugs.

I find a lot of the time ( and it's how I sort the bankers from the w@nkers ) a reasonable response to a very bad feedback works in the seller's favour, showing the muppet up for the true clothead he or she is.
That's the reason for the rant. Sellers can not leave neg feadback for buyers OR respond to neg feedback left by buyers by adding a response bellow it- no chance to stand up to these tossers.

For this buyer, just buy a rotten fish and packed it in old jiffy bag and send it to him, you have his address and say no more

Funny I should see this thread after my mate and I were discussing just the thing the other day.

My mate was selling some modern Fox forks which were two years olds but pristine and had cost him some £900 new. He advertised them on ebay with a very honest description, adding that they were used but mint etc, etc. They were won for just over £300 (bargain i'd say) and the guy came to collect and paid in full. A week later he get a message from the guy stating that around the scrapers he'd found some mud, and demanded £20 for services rendered in removing this mud. Thinking it was a joke (as he'd got on well with the guy when he collected) my mate sent a light hearted reply to the effect of 'you've been enjoying them then!'. Next day he has negative feedback stating that he had sold soiled items that were described as mint. The cheeky mother, I simply cannot believe it. He's been on ebay years with no negatives at all and then you meet a dick like this.

Those Ebayers giving Dr S Some hassle are "stninianscarehome" and "juicyjunior". I think everyone should mail them through Ebay and give them a taste of their own medicine!!! I'm going to!!!

ive lost countless accounts on ebay through idiots leaving negative for no reason ive all but given up with them no matter what you do now you get negative feedback. until earlier this year i had a lucraive ebay shop that id had for 3 years but it got closed for too many negatives as soon as the new rules came in. Hence a complete rethink on the buisness front!

9 times out of 10 negative feedback is caused by slow delivery caused almost entirely by Royal Mail.

Found this thread quite funny!

I'm afraid its a case of a little knowledge and empowerment in the hands of your average jo idiot is dangerous, and this danger is everywhere nowadays :(

Ever looked at ebay spain? I lived there for a while and i know people don't use it just because they don't trust each other at all, even their cars they tend to try and sell to family / friends.
