pinkbike seems to be full of scammers and idiots. i have had nothing but trouble with that site. this site has been nothing but a pleasure and people are honest and helpful.

Certainly is. There are some excellent bargains on there but you have to be so careful!

one or two on here can be not so good! currently waiting for a "mystery box" of parts. paid for it almost a month ago now and last PM to the seller is sitting in my outbox.
have to say only real prob i have had in buying and selling on here.

I half dealt with him on Pinkbike, fast replies until he decided to sell to someone else. I half think if I hadn't of insisted on a meet he'd of had my parts and money, but I'm kind of local too him and I'd of had an address. :roll:

Iirc there's not a trackable barcode on a non-recorded item so he's twisted himself around there.

Yeah calling me that and accusing me of being the scammer - strange as i had a feeling he would do that whence i outed him.

Twisted himself round? No there arent barcodes but you at least see it was posted/date/to what postcode?

Not even 100% it says postcode on unrecorded. My local po I ask to write them on the receipts for anything unrecorded.
