So since i sold my carlton corsair i have regretted not having a home for my honey brooks b-17. Then out of the blue (pun fully intended) this arrived......
And so the questions begin
number 1. what does the 'respray' sticker here mean? has it been resprayed?
Number 2. Would a 35c cx tyre fit in here? And number 2.5. Are the brakes worth keeping or swapping for my lx cantis?
Now for the big one. Number 3. How do i fit a 'normal' rear mech onto here? was hoping to use a m735
So onto the plan. I have recently been riding to work a lot and as it is a mix of canal and road i thought a flat barred cx/commuter would be perfect.

With a spec of roughly
m735 drivetrain but only running the 2 outer rings on the crank and a 32-11 cassette.

wheels i have no idea about. are mavic open pros wide enough for these tyres?
any strongley recommended silver cx rims out there?
