Original paint, usually these are quite badly repainted by the usual suspects.

Seems a good price and sound mechanical and cosmetic. Also selling what appears to be all the kit to built it, for about 2/3 of the price of the Team Pro listed down thread!!

It's probably the only way to get your money back on a build you're maybe never going to finish.

Stands up pretty well to the £1500 Team Pro effort down thread. Could probably put an entire Record equipped bike together for £7-800, a tad more sensible :) If I hadn't just bought a 753 Raleigh Panasonic I'd be into this myself..

I've never seen a Lightweight Unit and an SBDU Team Pro 531 side by side, any idea the difference (build quality, components, lugs ect?)

That's a sad end to a fine piece of workmanship. At the risk of upsetting people I never saw any particular difference between frames stamped W and those from Ilkeston. I admit with the latter you could spec all sorts of things and the tubing choice was greater but as for actual build differences? Not convinced.
