Raleigh Special Products DH frame, Reynolds 853. £75

Hi,

I've got a few retro bits to sell, so I'm going to start with this frame.

I'm not sure of the year but I'd guess 1998/99.
It's a Raleigh Special Products Division made from Reynolds 853 steel. From center BB to center TT = 16 inches.

It has been used so has scrapes and scratches on it but nothing serious. I bought this bike, stripped and rebuilt it, rode it once before another project came in and it got sidelined. It has a slight dent on the top tube but I think it has been there since day one because the paint is untouched around that area and it has never had a repsray.

It has a RockShox Coupe Deluxe rear shock with rebound control, on the one ride I had with the bike I remember it feeling quite springy but this may have been due to me not being used to riding steel.
There was a slight creak every now and then, this is due to the pivot bolt that is slightly bent. Replacing it would be easy though.
