58cm seat tube us usually converted to 23" and that sort of matches the length of the head tube in ratio....if that makes sense.

Just to be pedantic, if it's 58cm c-c, I'd call that a 23 1/2" in 'old money' (which, as well as being inches, is usually c-t, afaik.) GLWS.
