Thanks Mr Gumby, can you send me a couple of pictures and a price?

I'm in Australia, shipping out a frame and fork might be easier than a whole bike

oh well, hopefully I'll find one, I only just found this amazing website

classic bikes are very popular here at the moment

you'll have to send your sister some to sell here

all the best

Heres a pic. I can sort out postage to australia no problem.

Re:

Thanks folks, lovely looking frame, wrong year though, think I'm definitely after the 1984 one with the space shuttle graphic on the seat tube

search goes on

cheers

No problem

The 'Space Shuttle' Record Sprint was introduced in 1984, when it had the 'Aerospace Contour' tubing (Round-Oval-Round), it stayed this way until 1986 when the tubing reverted to normal, and the last 'incarnation' with the Space Shuttle was in 1987 (click on the link in my signature to see the 1987 bike)

They do crop up on a fairly regular basis on eBay, and even on here, but the sticking point may be the 21" frame, as it seems that back in the 80's parents bought these bikes for children to grow into so they tend to be the 23.5" or 25" frame!

I'll keep my eyes peeled for you, and hopefully one will be with you soon!
