Rims are great, not sure if thats the original wheels but both in good condition

Most of the working kit is more modern than the bike, which is what makes me think it was well loved earlier in its life

Very nice. I have a soft spot for those Sora brifters. I prefer them over the other Shimano offerings of that period.

The great irony being that unless you also brought a freewheel or cassette removal tool, the spokes are fairly useless

A Hypercracker (or NBT-2) is small and a good touring toolkit add-on.

No, really. I like the Campag-esque thumb buttons, that they're 7-speed and that they're cheap.

My local tip has a tidy Raleigh Randonneur 531 for 100 pounds, that seems like a bargain do you agree ?

its a crazy bad deal, don't buy it, walk away...... what's the address of the bike and telephone number?

Raleigh, Dawes and suchlike. There are so many of these quality bikes knocking around for relative pennies these days
