polished up wheels should i keep up with rest or am i polishing a turd

Depends on what you want to do with it.

If you're contemplating an M900 build they you will have the shiniest turd this side of a kona hahanna loaded with Pauls and Ringle bits.

If all you want to do is give it a polish and flog it on or bimble about the roads on it then you will have a shiny bicycle.

true only got it cause will enjoy tidying it up them will probably want to get rid and start again coal cellar only holds so many bikes and no room in house so she says

Then keep polishing, you'll make a few quid when you sell it and trade up, you'll be polishing a Yo in no time.

Doubt they'd buy it here but polished up with decent pics on ebay/local ads/craigslist/gumtree etc you'll get back much more than you paid for it.
