Raleigh Dynatech Pro 2080

Old School Hero
Just picked this up pretty cheap after spotting it on eBay.

Pretty good condition, some light corrosion under the black paint which shouldn't be to difficult to sort out.

It's built with a real mix match of parts, mainly Campagnolo and Shimano 6400. The wheels are Campagnolo hubs running 6 speed with deep section Wobler rims which I'm not to keen on.

The seat post was a battle to get out hence why it's like it is the the photos (I'm not that tall). It was all the way down in the frame initially. I suspect it maybe a bit big for the frame but there's no obvious damage to the frame.

Not sure what I'll do with it yet. Wanted a Dynatech for a while. Will probably strip it and build it back up with an all matching groupset.

Those rims are damn fine, tough and getting rare in decent condition. You'll struggle to find a better modern aero rim...use them in the build.

The rims in this mint condition are a dream though I'm way too heavy for only 28 spokes. Not really an issue because I would not ride them anyway - keep them mint!

Smart, is that a Campag SR chainset?

I believe it is. Odd size of 46/52 and 177.5mm. I've whacked it on eBay for a silly figure. Just selling it will cover the cost of buying the bike.
