Hi all, I have for sale my long serving Raleigh Dynatech Encounter....I love it so much, I have gone and got my self another, but in a larger frame more suited to my lanky height!
The size of the bike I'm selling is:
Centre of crank to top tube - 17 1/2 inches
Seat post to head set - 22 inches

I have been stripping her down but I have stopped, as this bike rode really well and would make a fantastic winter project, instead of a parts bin for me to sit on forever!
The frame is in a fairly good condition, the forks are showing some corrosion and flaking and their is definately 25 years worth of patina across the rest of the frame! It still looks good and solid though.
I will include the M550 LX chainset as well as the LX front and rear derailers, all in good condition.
The seatpost and WTB SST-X seat (very small tear on the rear corner - hasn't worsened over the last 7 years since it happened!)
Also the DX shifters and M650 DX brake set up will be included.
And
The recently trued Laser 400 rims on M550 LX hubs (complete with skewers) shod in Tioga Pshyco 2's
There are also some lovely Yeti grips on the handle bars.
It would be good to keep all the correct components together that have been in harmony for so long!
I'm looking for £125 ono, but may consider splitting if the right offer comes for the frame. ;-)
