Raleigh Diablo Dynatech For Sale

Retro Newbie
Hi I am selling Raleigh Diablo Dynatech Titanium. I have owned this bike from new and it has done no more than 700 miles. I got it after breaking my femur and used it for rebuilding my leg and thigh muscles. The main frame tubes are titanium and the chain stays seat stays and forks are cromoly. The chainset is Shimano deore LX with a Deore LX rear derailleur and an Exage front derailleur. The changers are DX SIS thumb shifters.

The frame was renewed in 1993 after the original was bent by a removal firm and it was replaced by the newer model with all top routed cable runs.

I have replaced the stem with an adjustable one to allow different set up of the bars for comfort.

The tyres and tubes are Brand New Continental Sport Contact slicks which cost me £50 just 2 weeks ago which I fitted intending to use the bike for commuting but have picked up a road bike from a friend hence the sale of this classic Dynatech Racing Stable bike.

The bike will come with the front and rear Crud Catcher mud guards.

The bike has been checked over at my local bike shop and the wheels are true and are Mavic 232 rims. Brakes levers are Diacomp SS5 and are fitted with cool stop eagle claw brake blocks and work very well.

There are some scrapes to the frame from normal use and from the clips that hold the front Crud catcher. There are a few spots where the paint has chipped as expected of a 1991 bike.

I would describe the bike condition as good. It is very light 24 lbs
(10.9 kg) and a dream to ride. £150 o.n.o.

If you would like more pictures of close ups of any part of the bike please e-mail me and I will supply asap.
