Looks great, can't wait to see this built up - that is if your dog will let you have it. Glad to see the man cave/workshop is properly fitted out with beer as well.

keep up the good work

I'll be sure to keep all updated.

The latest stuff on this one is that Decals have now been sourced for the frame, an original MRP world cup chain device, I'm also opting for silver NOS X-Lite phatso rims that I have, an X-Lite Clikon seat post, XTR med cage mech and ummmmm - that's about it for now.

Oh, and I have a brighter red Boxxer 151 to repaint and apply new decals to, the red on this version was what the frames were colour matched to. Better stay off the beers when I do this part though if the dog doesn't knock them over first..

Always the same, wait for a project bike then 2 come along at the same time.
If it all gets too much I am more than happy to take one off your hands. :D
Always fancied both, the dho was always scarce though, and the lobo too expensive. Prefer the alu one over the carbon though.
Can't wait to see them built up 8)

Yup, was on the hunt for a wee while and both came up within a week of each other. Armed with the knowledge of how infrequently they can come up, I stretched to both.

Re:

So.... Its been pretty slow. The moderns have taken up my time and attention recently and I've just been getting some time on the bike rather than fettling. Pleased with them both at the minute though..

The Raleigh has had the wheels re built on to a pair of NOS X Lite phatso rims and also has received a new decal set courtesy of Gil. I'm currently in the process of treating a set of Boxxer 151's with fresh paint and decals, I'll add pics of this later. I'm hoping the next time I post pics of this it'll be up and running ready for a little DH outing.

I've also been giving my LTS 2000 DS some love, new LX hubs on Mavic rims with a good set of Tioga DH's has got it looking good, some fettling refurbing the l/h shifter and new cables throughout. New middle ring and new chain has given the drivetrain a new lease of life. Cartridge bearing headset also thrown on for good measure!

I'll post an update on the Lobo soon as well. That's got new big uns on 321's, a boxer 151 in need of refurb, floating rear brake, and pretty much everything else need to get it sitting pretty with era correct DH stuff throughout!

I love the DHO, I think yours is a Y2k as the 1999 frame had a black headtube.
Yeah looking forward to it. Almost more than the lobo. I'll post a pic once complete. I'm trying to date it by the fork it's specced with which was a red 151. I reckon these are 98/99 and they changed to cherry red in y2k? The original pro was 97 that is fitted to it in the pic? Who knows....

Making good progress now. Era correct Hope c2's with Pro levers and Middleburn RS7's with old skool MRP to bolt on, then MAYBE I'll take her out for a ride! I think the Raleighs going to ride so much better than the lobo after some extensive sitting on them both in the garage. :)

that dog looks right grumpy!

And well, if you prefer the Raleigh id gladly take the lobo off your hands...

Seriously, looking good there, hard work paying off I'd say.
