Oohhh interesting 1992 or earlier in a medium/large. looks like its been modernised with risers (eek on Flex stem :-/ ( I tried that too! :-[ ) ) and V's and tripple traps etc. could be a reasonable bike with a bit of swapping. Interesting if it makes any monies...

Hey I've got one of those, cost me 16 quid off Ebay a couple of years ago. That too had a Girvin Flexstem, 'twas nasty and rusty stem with a lump of hard elastomer, my Apex also has the same questionable choice in dusky pink/purple opalescent paint, same bombproof 'K2' Reynolds frame,.
It's actually my current tug while selling off other bikes and rebuilding a Kilauea.
The Apex I have has the 'X' scratched off, so it's called 'the Ape'. It has a quill stem that's about 8 inches high out of the headset with really high riser bars, looks daft, rides weird but super comfy, heavy but springy, I love it.
That one looks in OK condition, deserves some love and polish, and dare I say de-Girvinizing ;-)
