R.I.P the Prince of Darkness.

Certainly worth a few words since I grew up listening to his music/Black Sabbath from the very start.

BSs' music was my psyche/pump-up music pre-wrestling matches.

I never stopped listening to their music or Ozzy; and generally still prefer 60s-'70s Britsh hard rock over anything that came later.

Black Sabbath albums were not left out for parents to view, and I generally avoided playing the music when they were nearby.

I wish I could have attended the final concert (nice that Bill played); but I would not have wanted to be around the many newbie heavy metal fans that have turned into mental slush (nor wanting to hear other acts that screwed up the show).

Oh my god. He knew, I'm certain.
Makes you wonder.
I went to pick up an ailing friend (cancer, and more) who wanted to be cared for where she grew up and had social/financial support. I drove straight for 3000 miles; picked her up and got a room for us before I attempted an "ambulance" drive back. She passed 12 hrs from me arriving; I think she knew the situation and just wanted a friend by her side (unfortunately, it destroyed me given the circumstances I cannot speak of).
