R.I.P. FairfaxPat

At the end of each ride we would say, "Well, we did another ride. Hope it wasn't the last one."

And then one of them was.

Guys like Pat who live the values of human solidarity make the world a better place.
Deep loss to Retrobike :-(

Re:

Absolutely gutted and will also miss his almost daily rides on here and being very envious of the weather and terrain.

RIP mate.

Re:

Little reminder folks. Pat's family are celebrating his life over in sunny Fairfax this Saturday, 01 June. I reckon as many of us should get out on our bikes and raise a glass to the man, the dude, Pat, and post our write-up/pictures over on the Today's Ride thread here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=303296&p=2941660#p2941660.

His daily rides, giving us all a little snapshot into the birthplace of the sport and hobby we love, were cherished by so many of us. I miss him a lot.

Will be out this weekend doing the Evans ride it Woking ride. Wife and kids doing the 15 miles short. Me and the eldest doing the long 30 miler with a few friends too. I'll try and stop to get some pics.

Carl.
