I've had a look through both sites, a little bit above my budget. I really like the Romani pictured above, seems like a good frame from a lesser known builder.

At a glance it appears to be a similar size to the Romani, so could fit the bill?

I was talking to the seller last week, top tube 54cm, it's shorter than the Mercian in length. I would have bought that frame in a heartbeat, it looks great. I'm really surprised at some of the dimensions in frames. I've seen 63cm seat tubes with 54cm top tubes, it's hard to imagine someone that's over 6ft needed such a short top tube.
