Question for campag delta experts.

Hi. recently purchased a set of what I believe to be gen 3 Deltas, in reasonable condition. I wish to replace the rear faceplate, and need to confirm what gen I have. i think its a 3 because it's the 5 pivot design, and came with white bellows.

Will a gen 2 or 4 faceplate fit on what i believe to be a gen 3?

Any advice appreciated

Are the springs external or internal, i.e, Record or CDA?
I never measured them but I thought the CDA looked bigger?

As best as I can tell. the Record generations 2-4 all use the same plates (the 4 in my garage all are interchangeable).

I would have agreed that they are all interchangeable between the record calipers, except for the fact that I have one faceplate that doesn't fit properly.
not sure which generation of delta that faceplate is from, but all of my calipers that are in use regularly are 3 pivot without the ferrules required of the 86/87 models - and therefore second generation I believe?
