purple on purple?

ok. after accidentally putting a purple skewer on the front of my AA and deciding it looked really rather tasty, i am considering adding additional (small) bits of purple bling to it.


what level of faux pas is this? i'm talking skewers and bolts rather than chainrings, handlebars etc

hi cce, I've a purple Kona AA too. I reckon that there is something in the paint that affects judgement. Do other colours have this property or is it just Kona purple, I wonder?

Personally I reckon that bolts, seat clamp, skewers are fair game and minimal impact, but I've already been exposed. Mine has a purple brake booster on its arse now,but I'll never get a purple stem, or purple cook bros cranks, I can stop any time, any time I tell you.
