Sold Purple Haze GT Karakoram

Hi All,

Bought this with the intention of turning into a grocery getter but have decided against it, pretty much a 'shed find' when I found it, needs recommissioning, tyres are a little crispy. No idea on GT sizing but I normally ride a medium Bontrager this feels fine so guessing 15" or 16" ish (can run a tape measure over it if needed).

Looking for £120 collected but can post anywhere in the U.K. for a bit more

Very nice, looks like a 16" indeed.
You could measure center - center top tube.

Yep, can grab a box and ship it no problem at all, haven't sold anything for a while but sold quite a few things on here over the years with no issues

Evening all,

Popped a tape measure over the frame this evening, the effective top tube is 54.5 cm and the centre of BB to top tube is 43 cm so even allowing for my dubious measuring that makes it a 16" frame, hope that helps

Originally I was planning to swap to DX thumbies and SS5 levers, wider bars, an old white rolls or turbo, modern tyres and some flat pedals, might help to give anyone interested some ideas....

One of the best ever GT paint jobs IMHO! And it's a 16" which is MY size and my older bro lives in Cold Ash which isn't far at all from Thatcham!

Do I need it? NO! Do I want it? YES! Why am I looking??? Good question!!!

That also looks 100% original, even down to the Ritchey Megabite tyres. Still got the GT A'me grips, GT toe clips & straps and Caratti Imports sticker...

Yep, totally original, I bought from an old couple that had two, a slightly larger plain white one and this one, they bought them and then hardly used them…

Grips are a little torn up at the ends but still useable
