Think you must be buying off the wrong people then...!

Can pretty certainly guarantee it would not cost anywhere near £45.00 to post those brakes from the UK to the US...

I have shipped dozens of things to England and Germany over the last 4 years and never paid more than $12 for a small box with expedited shipping to either country. I think I once had to pay $18 to ship a full crankset with rings to Germany. To charge $25 or more is ridiculous.
