Pulstar hubs service

Its cup’n’cone so it shouldn’t be a problem to service. And you don’t have to buy new bearings because if they’re unused you’ll just have to wash the old grease out and pack some new grease in.
That's good to know - the front ones are 'crunchy as' so I'd like to get them good to go

Hi I have already chimed in on a few threads and boards. I am a few years late but still trying my luck here:

I got a hold of a wheelset with pulstar hubs tied to Araya RM-395 Team XC. Didn't have the confidence to change the closed bearings myself so handed them in for a service with a local mechanic (Norway). got them back with new bearings.

There's resistance along the axle pipe. Which, according to the mechanic was oxidised and worn. Anyone got any idea what pipe dimensions to look for or if there is a service-kit to match?

Thanks in advance.
