Does anyone know of any "cycling friendly" B&B style accomodation in or around Puerto Pollensa? I am not doing hotels again as they can't even provide decent washing facilities to get the bike togs turned around for the next day's riding.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Craig

Re:

Take hand wash powder, pegs and a clothes line. Wash in bathtub as soon as you return, hang on balcony. Have a beer. Always works for us.

Take two or three sets, then you don't need to turn them round for the next day.

We used the Aparthotel Duva the last 3 times we've been there. They don't technically have a washing area, but a sink and hanging/drying space out the back on the flat, it's pretty secure as well, so you can leave your bike in there.

10 minutes of washing and rinsing after your ride and then hang up to dry. Got us through a fortnight with 3 or 4 sets of kit each.

Re:

I just checked Ryanair for flights - a very reasonable £100 each return but with bikes, bags and seats the f**kers want £513 for the two of us!!!

£100 per bike!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:x

Being Retro, the only bikes that I like in his shop are the ones
up on the display shelves with the soft tyres!! :D I have to take the TVT - nothing else will do, I'm afraid ..

Can anyone remember the name of that monster hotel opposite Bruce's shop? We would regularly see dozens of bike riders appear at 8am from that place last year .. .

It's just blocks of flats opposite the current shop IIRC

Unless you mean the lock up/other shop, thats the Aparthotel Duva.

Then theres the pollensa park, which is huge. And under "new management"

EDIT:- Turns out bruce has moved since last i was there, yes, it's the pollensa park that is opposite the new shop.
