Prototype Litespeed

I'm guessing the head angle with the shock set to the long-travel hole on the swingarm would be about 110 degrees.

...that's more than a little bit ugly :?

They even managed to photo it next to the ugly tree it fell out off:

I'm gonna stick my neck out and say I actually quite like this (in a sort of brutally ugly yet quirky fashion)

I just think it needs the right components to realise its potential as an "in yer face" beastly contraption.....picture it with Lawill leaders and Caramba double-barrel cranks and you're getting there. 8)

URT,s were done and dusted by 95 and lightspeed still produced a dh version in 97.

Except for Klein, Schwinn, Mongoose, Trek, and a few others :)

Mongoose URT ??

Always thought the mongoose teocali was an URT, maybe it's not, but you can add the Rocky mountain pipeline to the list of URT's after 1995

^ ^ ^ Yea I can't name any that were a "hit" in the marketplace or on the trail from 96 onwards.
Love the pointless aero wedge thing on the head tube. there's enough titanium in this thing to make 3 Xizangs and I'm guessing the highest bider is looking to buy it only for the sheer volume of titanium.
At this price it's not bad per kilo.

What's the wedge on the gead tube for? Log chopping? Perhaps that's why it's called a machete.
