Hi looking for some advice on some project two forks.will the forks off a 93 fire mountain fit a 94 fire mountain? Cheers richie.

If the frame is the same size, then yes in principle... however other factors like if one bike has been fitted with a threaded headset while the other a threadless, will complicate matters

Found out the 93 has 1inch threaded fork where has the 94 is 1&1/8 threaded fork. From what I can find you can use a shim to fit the 1inch fork then obviously you would need a 1inch headset seems a lot of hassle.

INdeed, the 93 is a one inch, the 94 inch and an eighth. Probably easier to find another fork, as the inch and an eighth is far more common, plus you'll be able to get the triple butted version.
