Never done one myself, but as I understand it you would struggle to damage titanium with a scotchbrite pad. Think you can get the nice 'brushed' finish if you keep going in the same direction though.

Couple more bits ready to go on.. Had no luck sourcing a red slr so had an old tatty one recovered locally and had my old pretty scraped/scuffed lx cranks polished..

Tried my hand with a pair of middleburns.. Came out ok'ish
But took blimmin ages !!!
