Little bit more progress on this thanks to a quiet night at work....
new decals fitted (thanks Gil!) and some of the acquired purple bits fitted too....

Now just waiting on the last few bits to turn up (purple front brakes, better tyres, chain etc)

Its finally finished!

Thanks to minifreak for the tyres....they look amazing on this bike!

After many issues with getting hold of and setting up some original LX shifters, the daughter couldnt get used to them, so some super cheap but good and chunky shimano shifters are in place.
I do have a set of Marzocchi xc400 forks id like to put on this, but they need the steerer cutting down and rethreading, also i will be on the hunt for a set of purple Dia Compe versa c5's for the rear brake too....

No, they are black...which should sit well with the black frame
