If you are thinking of getting the links anodised you should consider buying the upgraded Lopes link. It makes a very noticeable difference to the stiffness of the frame. I also fitted the upgraded lower link to mine but I couldn't tell the difference with that one.

I've had mine almost six years now and I think the seat post is the only remaining part from the first build. Currently M980 3x10, Hope wheels and brakes and 130mm RC41's for lightness and the look, but I'm planning to swap the forks for something heavier but plusher and with a bit more travel. Its a smidge under 24.5 lbs as pictured -
