Proflex 856 Bottom Bracket Length!!!

I'm looking to fit an LX 563 crankset to my Proflex 856, could anyone help with the bottom bracket length, the Sheldon Brown website quotes two sizes for this crank 107 and 113 so I'm none the wiser, would appreciate any help on this, cheers.

from memory, and if the 756 is similar. 113mm was ok. with stx-rc cranks.

I was leaning towards the 113mm Marc for no other reason than my other 856 has that size but with totally different Sugino Impel cranks!!! Think I can get a UN55 for about a tenner so probably worth a punt, I was trying to get it finished for Dalby on the 28th but I don't think it's going to happen!!! Cheers anyway Marc.

113 will work, no matter what.
107 may be the preferred length for most bikes and old 47.5mm chainline setup.

If the front mech is a 31.6 band then the 113 will be perfect.
If it's a 73mm shell then go for 113 also.

BOTH will work fine for the gears, it's frame clearance that's different.

What else does it need to be ready for Dalby ?

I'm sure front mech is 31.6 so I'm going to go with the 113, I'm only really waiting for the cable ferrules to arrive which I bought off here a couple of days ago and the NOS chainset is hopefully winging its way to me from eBay, oh and the rear ODS unit needs to come to bits to fit a new spring and top hat adjuster, if its not finished il use the other 856 anyway, looking forward to a ride out, first time in months, thanks for the advice, cheers Darren.
