Problems with XT 2007- SOLVED-

Why can't we have thumb shifters back. At least i cauld have gone to fiction mode this morning and changed gear. Some times change is not for the best.

to be honest yours sounds more of a set up problem. I havent had need to use friction since 92 when I first started using M900 rapidfire, cant believe I've been that lucky!

on top of the shifter pods indicators? (or less common roadie style inline cable indicators?) shifter pod indicators shouldnt make a difference. just tape over the holes left so dirt doesnt get into the shifter.
I'd guess you've just had cable stretch affecting the indexing.
