Not a bad idea, kinda like an idea I had in school:

A horizontal scanning laser, as wide as your car from the front bumper and it is as far infront as your speed dictates a safe stopping distance.

That along with an alcohol breath analyser connected to the central locking remote fob.

I should have produced them back in 88, could have been rich back then, but, Acid House came along

Only really useful when it's dark, though.

Besides, the numpties who give you no room, will still continue to give you no room - and probably feel a bit chuffed that they've defeated such a cleverly contrived scheme :-(
