Who thought up the idea that an American remake of the '60s classic The Prisoner was a good idea?! :roll:

I'm quite indifferent to it at the moment. Not sure if it can ever surpass the original (bit too tall an order methinks) but it might develop into a gripping kinda show which is why I'm keeping an eye on it.. giving it a chance.

watched the first ep online, having seen 2nd ep was tonight and watched that, its ok, may develop

I thought it was a fixed 6 episode run? I downloaded it all months ago, and made some DVDs of it - haven't had time to watch it, yet, though.

I'm currently enjoying Breaking Bad ;-)

I don't want to see it. It would spoil the original if it was bad. A bit like the latest Bond films.

Doesn't have any of the weirdness, or atmosphere that made the original interesting.
Just a token few old cars and a village out of Center Parcs.
Would probably have continued watching if I hadn't seen the original (a few times).

Yay, it's nice to know I'm not the only one who's dubious about this new version!!

I'm gonna give it a chance too, but it's still not a patch on the original! We'll see where it goes from here ...
