Does anyone use any online/highstreet printers for pics? I've been using the home printer and a friend dropped in some pics taken with a real camera and on real paper the quality was fantastic and I'd like to get some of my digital stuff done.
What sort of quality are you after? I had some done at Boots as I don't have a printer and at 8p a copy I was really quite impressed. I only wanted them printing for frames around the house - so not after a brilliant finish, but still better than I thought. Dead easy too - plug memory stick in, press some buttons and come back an hour later. Job done!
For normal size photos, I print them at home - printer that does a good job, good inks, and good photo paper.
I had the printer already, and when I'd noticed how much we were spending, taking the SD card into Tescos and having them done there, it just made sense.
Personally, I'm very happy with the quality of photos I print at home, I can't tell them apart from the ones I'd have done in a store like Tescos.
It's only big (ie bigger than A4) photos that I get done elsewhere.
Photobo are excellent, paper is also very good quality. I had a 2030 print done for the wall last year and was more than happy, so when I sold a load of prints to the local tourism office, I used them again too..
Pro stuff probably printspace, though about twice the cost of Photobox..
