PRINCIPIA MSL Frame - Not quite retro...PRICED TO CLEAR...

Sithlord

Old School Grand Master
Due to an injury to my back, I am forced now to abandon this project, I originally bought this frame back in 2001/02 , brand new from RBS Cycles in Portsmouth, at a cost of around £ 1200.00  (have receipts and owners docs) I built it up using the finest kit known to man, and got the weight down to sub 20LB with suspension forks . the frame weighs around 1100grms and frame measures 15" c-c and 17.5 c-t ,and it is disc specific.

I rode this frame for about two seasons, so has had light usage,

I recently decided to get it resprayed , but thought I may get it polished instead so decided to undertake the strip myself, which is almost complete, so its now in a position of either being polished or re-sprayed ! as the picture shows.

But now I am having to abandon the hardtail world, this needs to find a new home.. please dont be mistaken for thinking this is a 'cheap' or 'robot' built frame, it was hand made by the original small company 'Principia'

This frame type is still available today, however it is not hand built by 'Principia' as the company went into liquidation , I think around 2003 , the name remains but these are now made in the far east somewhere, even though they are still nice bikes, they are not a patch on this handmade beauty...

I am asking a very reasonable £ 250.00 for this frame, including brand new and original decals, and a spare hanger.

If you would like any further info or would like to view it in person then you are very welcome.. just drop me a PM

Come on guys... give me £ 160.00... and its yours.... need to clear this really.. or I will be tempted to build it and ride it against the consultants advice....  :(

 Having seen this frame in the flesh i have to say it is a real beauty!!

Can't believe no one is going for this!! :o ...... only a potential divorce is keeping me from spending anymore on frames that i will blatantly want to build up!!

Have to say, i guarantee this is the lightest and nicest hard tail frame i've seen for a bit...

Only giving it a plug cause this frame needs to be out on the trails, not hidden away...... :)
