A good friend of mine built a set of these about 3 years ago.
He Rides about 3 hours a day...HARD city riding and commuting.
He Built them for his Titanium Asama...and I loved the idea the minute I saw them.
So.....fast forward to this weekend. I finally found a set of NICE!!
Tange Prestige MTB Legs. And anothe good friend of mine was nice enough to "Let loose his grip" on a set of 1 inch Mags he has been saving.
I built these in about 15 Minutes...and I will be running them on my
Fat Chance Build.
Step 1 ~ Find Tange Legs
Step 2 ~ Find a 1inch Rock Shock Mag.
Step 3 ~ Break down the Mag21's and install Tange legs
( PERFECT FIT!!!! )
Step 4 ~ with the 4 allen bolts out of the Rock Shock Crown, tighten down the drop-outs in a wheel to seat and center the legs.
Step 5 ~ Install and tighten 4 Allen bolts in the Mag Crown.
Step 6 ~ marvel at how Strong and light...and COOL your new 1inch
