Schwinn fork, Schwinn bolt on cantilever brakes, New Departure front hub, skip tooth, Morrow coaster brake, 5/8 inch cold rolled seat post, Velcro mounted bottle cage, vintage petrified

grips, Schwinn stem, bear trap pedals and cut down vintage balooner bars. Yes, its raced. If I beat one person in the single speed category in a 30 mile mountain bike race I consider that good enough. The frame hasn't snapped, the 80 year old chain kept together and the brakes did the job.

Thank you. It’s stored in the attic for the winter. I will be getting it out soon, but it’s snowing right now and was -14 C wind chill this morning. One of my buddies has a cousin who’s brother owned a bike shop. He died in 1960. A few years ago she wanted someone to clean out the shop and gave me all the bike stuff for cleaning it out. This frame, and many others came from this clean out. I put the Morrow coaster brake together from parts from this. The New Departure hub was from all this as was the fork truss rod. Schwinn women’s bicycles can usually be bought for peanuts or picked up free so the stem, bars and fork were from a 1970s rusty Schwinn. I had a dog leg crank on it from this bike shop but it got bent so BMX one is on it now. It also is currently bent. The bolt on cantilever brake is a rare piece and usually expensive but I was able to get one very reasonably with missing parts and was able to fabricate replacement parts. The petrified grips were also from the closed shop. I only have one other picture of it but I’ll take more when I get it down.
