Powdercoat, pearlescent colours ?

Has anyone had a frame powdercoated in any of the pearlescent colours :?: took a frame in this morning and I was all set on white :roll: but when I got there they'd just bought in some new colours

As they've never used them before I'm getting it done very cheaply so its not the end of the world if its horrible

I've gone for white that changes to green if that makes sense :? anyone got any pics as I've only seen it on a sample card

my mate had his roll cage done pearl blue. i think in that application it looks a bit tacky but i reckon on a frame ot would look awesome. my inbred was pearl white and i guess that was powder and it looked grand

I had my kilauea powder coated white but with a pearl lacquer. You can just about see it in this pic:

You can buy pearlescent laquer in a can.

had an old frame powdercoated in silver with pearl red faded in looked quite nice but agree some of the pearl colours can look a bit tacky.

Just had this done in lairy Yellow with a metal flake laquer, they do all sorts including candy laquers that look very drooly
