Have Armourtex gone bad?

They got bought out and the new operation is on some industrial estate around Ponders End/Totenham Hale. People had frames come back badly damaged and I think they've said now that they don't do bikes (concentrating on industrial work).

Thanks – think I'll give 'em miss. Besides, I'm not sure if I'd really want to venture out to the lovely hinterland of Ponders End with a retrobike – I live in the other direction out of Enfield, along the A110 and near The Ridgeway. This time I'm seriously considering DIY using either the Spray.Bike or Montana Gold paints to refurb the frame.

Re:

Don't know them. They look fancy though. Located near to Wolfrace Wheels. Also, there's a couple of nearby hostelries along 'The Hythe' that follows the river channel that do decent-ish pub grub too.

Cheers for the tread link but don't see any alternatives there in the london area. There must be one or two. Don't really trust a frame in post..

Re:

Bumping this as my Orange Clockwork needs a powdercoat. I used Armourtex last time but looks like that option's gone.

Re:

Thanks kalex. If possible I'd like to find a company in in London (there must be somewhere) but if that falls through then this will be a good backup. Cheers.
