Powder coating

Mac999

Retro Newbie
I'm thinking of getting my m2 s works powder coated.has anyone had it done at aroura in ash vale ( aldershot) it's in black what colour should I have it done in :)

I had my Curtlo coated there. They did a good job but not an amazing job. There were a couple of lumpy bits, some gritty bits round the dropouts, and a pronounced "scar" where they hung it on a looped wire, despite a plethora of threaded holes that might have been more appropriate. It took 2 weeks (the previous powdercoat was too tough for their blaster so it spent a week in the dip) and cost £60 which ain't too bad for Surrey; half the price that the Bordon place wanted!
They are new to bikes though, having done more in the last 6 months than in the previous 15 years...

Thank you for the reply, I was also quoted £60 which j thought is a great deal. I must say your bike does look very nice. As they have lacquered it I'm assuming your going to sticker if up, will that natter of does it been re- lacquering.
I'm thinking of keeping my bike and getting it done up
Hears a pic cheers

Damn, that was a nice bike..! :|

decals can be had from Gil M, and there's no need to lacquer over them.
This is the high gloss finish.
