PoTM September 2011 - Autumnal

Interesting running order so far - people seem to be voting for their favourite pic but ignoring the theme?

I kept quickly scrolling up and down to see which pic caught my eye as regards 'Autumnal' and kept coming to rest on jans every time, with firestormer a close second (though more suited to this months theme...) so voted accordingly...

woody's picture got my vote. The colour of the sky is really autumnal, and you can almost feel the admosphere. Great!!

The problem is, a bit like in your picture, it's not been very 'autumn' like until well now in October and other countries may vary.



So it best picture with a hint of Autumn for me.
I like GaryTurner pic, dropped leaves, nice pic, shame about the GT but can let that off
